Still alive

Just wanted to give you, dear reader, a quick update.

The project is still going, not as smooth or fast as I woud like but there's been a lot of changes in my life.

Firstly, I had to take a break, I got to a point on which I wasn't enjoying the craft; so I went to play Battlefield 1 like a madman, and it revitalized me.
Following with this topic, I've also been pre-producing and conceptualizing a lot of new, too big for me games; without a team to support meand take on tasks that I can't or don't want to do, the snowballing frustration starts to creep.

On that note, I've been conceptualizing two ¿AA? games, based on almost the same formula with strong emphasis on storytelling and melee combat; I've been also conceptualizing a turn-based game, that could also work on mobile. The one sentence pitch is completely bonkers: Battlefield 1 meets Into The Breach and XCOM. I might pitch that project into the new job, because I'm also starting a new job next week, and I'm super stoked for that.

I'm leaving here a gory screenshot of the progress of the game; there's new lean and crouch mechanics, trying to emulate a bit of F.E.A.R and merging that playstyle onto a Boomer Shooter, to see how it goes. Right now, I'm making the blockout for a level based on the layout of Distrito Arcos, an open mall in the capitol city. Everything is going fine, just slow.

Oh and I finally made the shift to UE5. I'm squeezing every drop of juice of my 1050Ti, what a beast.
